já estou para colocar isto aqui á uns tempos mas esqueço-me sempre. Após algumas brincadeiras (Paulo e Rui

Gostava de deixar aqui uma breve explicação que ele deu sobre as kessils e a experiencia que tem tido com elas:
I started with 5 kessil narrows accross this tank. Awesome for all the corals under the lights, but I found SPS that weren't in a decent amount of direct light to be "reaching." I have since added two more kessil wides in the back, as well as the ecoxotic strip lights. I have over 800 watts of LED's on the tank, and I run them ALL at 100% intensity. I read a lot of threads that run the lights at less than 50% intensity. Not really sure why. It's good to give a coral some acclimation time, but the corals need the light (assuming SPS of coarse). There are SO many other reasons for corals to be having problems.....lighting is not the first one I would think of. I have corals thriving at less than 8" under water that are directly under 90 watt narrow kessils sitting less than 10" off the water. These corals grow nice and thick. I have stags with branches thicker than my thumb. Some of my Tortes are just as thick. So, I believe LED's have plenty of power to grow sweet / Thick / beautiful corals. You just need to make sure you have enough light to cover the tank well. And don't be afraid to use it.

Até agora, foi o tanque mais bonito com kessils que encontrei até hoje. O resultado final após 3 anos é este:
